Weight Watchers Canasta

What a trip this is: a canasta set published by the good people of Weight Watchers.

Product Details:

[Weight Watchers Intl.]. Weight Watchers Canasta. [N.p.] : , . Boxed. .

A boxed card game. Original box abraded and rubbed but still pretty striking. Inside, a moss-green card holder cradles two decks of playing cards (still in shrink-wrap) and the instructions for playing Weight Watchers Canasta. “Three fascinating games for 1, 2, or 4 players — Simple but challenging to play!” Probably not particularly useful but definitely a piece of American culinary and dietetic history.

Price: $15.00

Los Diners and Roadside Restaurants

For those of us who have a weakness for grilled cheese, crisp bacon, milkshakes, and (lord, forgive me) grilled donuts, this book will be a pleasure. It's not a cookbook per se, but it's a pictorial history of places where you can find some of the tastiest food in New England: diners. This book won't change your life, but it might increase your quality of life dramatically. Particularly if it inspires you to drive to your nearest greasy spoon and order up a grilled donut and some coffee.

Product Details:

Anderson, Will. Los Diners and Roadside Restaurants. Bath, ME : Anderson & Sons' Publishing Co., 2001. 1st Edition. Obl. 4to. VG.

VG in paper wrappers. Beautiful. Signed by the author at half-title.

Price: $45.00
